  During my first Pregnancy, I craved Soulfood so my Husband & I searched for a spot that could deliver & Uncle Gene's spot did so. However, since that day the Prices have increased & the quality of Customer Service has decreased. The Women (2 in particular) are very rude & "catty" when taking our orders. Uncle Gene is ALWAYS a great Man whenever he is on the scene but we truly wish that He would better select the Women he hires. Customer Service is just as important as good quality Food.

  I have been looking for a place with some good home cooked food. This is definitely the place. The service was great and food was hot.
  
  I got fried chicken dinner with, dressing, mac n cheese, and mashed potatoes. I can not say not one bad thing about any of it. Portions were perfect.... and the mac n cheese..... oh my goodness. I am very picky when it come to mac n cheese, but this place has even topped my version.
  
  If you want REAL food and tired of fast food, stop by the hidden gem.... like the say, some of the best places are your little holes in the wall. This is one of them.
