  All of the Mellow Mushroom's in town are great and this was no exception. Fairly sleek/modern design (less funky/eclectic than other locations) with a bit of an aeronautical theme in keeping with its proximity to the airport. Nice big bar area and bartenders were friendly and attentive.

  I always enjoy the food there. But this time the service was not up to normal standards. We where not the only ones to complain about it. At least two other tables had to talk to the manager as well. The food was still very good. However it should not take 30 minutes to get a refill or be waiting 20 minutes after you request your bill to get it and be able to leave.

  Got my special request order wrong the first time but they gave it to me on the house. In my eyes, everyone can make a mistake. It is what you do to fix the problem that counts. Thumbs up to the man in charge over there this evening for delivering the kind of customer service that perceives the value in delivering quality. Practically all of the mellow mushrooms I have been to have gotten my very specific order wrong. High marks for this Mellow on FIRST VISIT.. St Simons GA location is still my number one fave. On my SECOND VISIT they got the order right when i told them they got order wrong the previous day. One thing I will tell you is to be careful when you add anything extra to your sandwich. I added avocado and sprouts to my hoagie. They charged OVER $3.00 (might have been 3.50) and another $1.00 (might have been 1.50) EXTRA on a TEN DOLLAR sandwich. I was not informed beforehand by the waitress of the additional charges. I noticed others have reviewed this place they also took exception to this. . When you charge premium pricing on a sandwich out of the gate it is a little absurd to dollar the customer to death (especially when I ordered appetizers). I thought the extra charges were a bit much. If it had been a dollar for sprouts and a dollar for avocado I might not have mentioned it but half the price of the sandwich is steep unless that avocado sprouted from a monkeys butt in Shanghai the prior day.
