  It definitely is a hole in the wall and it does smell a little funky. But the sushi is AMAZING. You get a good portion, cheap price and good sushi. You can't beat it.
  
  I was a little skeptical at first because of how it looked and smelled but I am now hooked. I eat here atleast once a week.
  
  Oh and she does not use nuts for the shrimp tempura. It is a different kind of crunchy stuff but not nuts and it taste good.

  I have been eating here for over 2 years and the sushi is consistently fresh and delicious. My BF has been coming for over 10 years and says he has never gotten a bad meal. I have to agree. MaryAnn is so cheerful and nice it's almost like having lunch in your neighbor's kitchen. Well worth returning , which I do regularly. What is lacking in ambiance is more than made up in quality, and at a very reasonable price. Word of caution: if you are putting in a large order, particularly for takeout, it is best to call well ahead as she makes everything to order and is quite busy between 11:30-2 or so.

  i love it here! a bit of distance but way worth it. DELICIOUS! and prices are amazing. She cant be beat!!! never had a bad experience
