  George and I ate a late lunch/early dinner at The Rib Shack today because (1)it was Valentines Day, (2) I had been wanting good ribs for quite some time, and (3) every time we pass on the motorcycles and see this place, we have either just eaten or have an appointment to eat somewhere. Any way, finally got there today. They were having a special for $8.99 - "small rib plate with 2 sides and a drink (Coke products)"; we also had an order of onion rings, well done. Well we're here to tell ya, if they served any more food, we could not have eaten it all. The "small" rib plate was cooked to perfection, the field peas and snaps, fries and garlic bread were served HOT off the cooker and overall, the meal was excellent. The female owner was present and we only had one complaint: "she needed to have Norma her waitress of 17 years, serve the ribs with bibs"! Thanks y'all, WE WILL BE BACK.
