  The food here is wonderful, authentic, and it is a pleasant place. It would be impossible to give it less than 5 stars. But I eat here a lot and there are two things they could improve. One is that the dishes come out too quickly. In a restaurant of this quality and cost, the dishes should be paced properly, giving time for everyone to finish their appetizers, then clearing the plates, then a short rest, then the main course, etc. I know this is America not Italy, but you're not eating at Wendy's. Once my main course arrived while I was halfway through the wonderful grilled octopus appetizer, and I'm not a pokey eater. The bar has the opposite problem. We've noticed over and over that the drinks (wine in this case of course) come out way too late. If you order your drinks before ordering your meal, even several minutes before, you're sometimes halfway though the appetizer before they arrive. Same delay for refills. These are minor complaints compared to how fabulous the food is--just mentioning them because they do drag down the experience a little.
